Dear Librarian/Archivist,
We’re very excited to share a preview of “Our Exhibit” with you. We want all the information we present to be as accurate as possible, so please check the caption information for your images and let us know if there are any errors that need correcting by DATE.
The temporary URL for the exhibit is scalar-test.chicagocollections.org. You will be prompted for a username and password. Your username is your email “EMAIL” and your password is “PASSWORD”. Your images have been included in the body and/or gallery on the following pages: LIST PAGES. Please let us know if there are errors in your images or if you come across any functionality issues. You can email us at EMAIL.
Thank you again for your participation – we are excited to share your content in our digital exhibit.
Regards,

Form for collecting metadata for one item at a time: Image Metadata Collection Form (blank example). Here's an example of how this looks when it's filled out: Image Metadata Collection Form (filled out).
Spreadsheet for gathering and bulk upload of metadata: We've created a sample metadata template in Excel that you can download and customize according to the needs of your project. Keep in mind that the template only contains mandatory fields (title, identifier, description, rights, source, and URL.) Alternately, you can create a spreadsheet from scratch or copy the .csv file provided in the Scalar guidelines.
